Busy with work lately.
And will most probably remain as such for de rest of the year.

This weekend alone has tons of stuffs to do:
- History SBQ
- Hydroxyl compounds tutorial
- Chem MCQ quiz on IVLE
- GP article research + rewriting topic sentences
- E field tutorial
- PNC tutorial
- Study for chem test
- Prepare for HK trip

And for this weekend,
Saturday will be burned - Dental + Bryan's b'day + Guitar lesson.
Sunday may be partially filled - possibly going out with family.

I can foresee that the 2nd weekend from now will be a hell lot more.
Missing school for 5 days + my precious weekend will cause me to lag behind significantly.
So much for going HK and have fun.
I really fear of what lies ahead.

If I fall prey to any mental illnesses, it will all be SG educational system's fault.

A New Year.
Actually I dun feel much of a big deal here.
It is jus another day.
An excuse for ppl to scream and shout at 12 am this morning.
But I do feel a little different today.
Feeling confident of being able to complete my hw by next week YEAH!

This is gonna be a long post.

Day 4 (Saturday, 26/12)
Went to the Eurasian Community House in the morning.
Been there once before... Sec 2 I think...
After which we proceed to lunch and tok along the way...
Sherry was attempting to learn some Canto phrases.
Felt quite left out of the conversations...
Perhaps it was due to home stay on the previous day...
Try to fit in somehow...

Proceed to Esplanade after lunch.
Never know that the backstage of the theatre is so freaking HUGE!
Also, there are lots of sophisticated equipments to make sound quality better.

Heritage tour was boring...
Our HK guests were even better at shopping than us.
Vivian was able to buy a few T-shirt from Chinatown in 15 min O.o
Someone was lost after Chinatown stop but luckily, everything turn out fine in the end.

Arriving at Night Safari, we had murtabak (Worst I had ever eaten)
There were hell lots of ppl there at Night Safari.
Shouldn't everyone be resting after Christmas Day?
Prices there was a rip off:
Chicken Rice - $17
Ice Mountain mineral water - $2.50
On our way home, I got myself a scandal.
Thank a lot Amos, I will remember this.
Dr was leaving the next day and we bid farewall to her.

Day 5 (Sunday, 27/12)
St Mary of the Angels church was not like church I had seen before.
It seems veri modern like.
No wonder there are more and more Christians nowadays.
To keep up with time, thats the key.
After which, there was a sharing session by EiF Facilitators.
Many of our HK guests K.O at this stage.
I nearly fell into dreamland like them, but managed to hang in there.
It will be a more challenging day tmr, with more toks.

At Marina Barrage, we flew kites.
Wind was awesome there, as it was about to rain.
After the tour, I gave out my durian cakes (Credit to dad and mom =D)
We thought that since our HK guests like to take photo veri much,
We should shout "Photo!" instead to lead them to move from point A to point B.

Day 6 (Monday, 28/12)
SMU was not as small as I thought.
Our tour guide in SMU was actually my sister primary school friend, Chay Ling.
A small world after all...
It looks like our guests were fascinated by SMU facilities.
They should tour NTU instead haha.
SMU was not in my choice of University and it will nv be.

As expected, our HK guests was defeated during NYC tok.
Unglam photos of those who slept were taken and posted in facebook haha.
Of all include Winnie, who was suppose to present a token of appreciation to the NYC ppl.
And she was still in denial, claiming that she was thinking veri deeply lol.

Depart for Malay Youth Literary Association (4PM)
I slept on the bus, as I was too, tired in NYC tok.
Unglam photos were taken once more on the bus, but somehow I escaped =D

After 4PM sharing session, I sat on the bus with this new friend I made: Fanny
In the short span of less than a week, there are still ppl who I did not hang out with.
Also, she helped me to take a photo.
"Is it nice?"
"Of course! The photo will not be too bad because of my handsome face."
"I also took a photo with my host family. Can you spot me?"
"This one?"
"Yes la. You can find me so fast because I am veri pretty ar."
Haha.
"Why you dun have English name ar?"
"I dunno, Maybe I am not a Christian? You should ask my parents."
"Many of our English names are made by ourselves. You dun need to be a Christian to have English name ar"
Can't imagine someone calling me by my English name haha.
After which we played polar bear at the back of the bus.

YOG learning centre was like another NE session all over haha.
Phototaking as usual.

Back to the hotel, we kill sometime before dinner by playing cards.
Riduan the fireman, Sherry and Tommy were all dressed up so formally.
Especially Tommy, who wore a suit with a blazer and tie.
He took a scandal picture with four gals around him.
We all speculate that his Vietnam girlfriend will kill him if she saw that photo.

Before entering the Grand Hall, I shook hand with a guy name Stanley.
After which I asked Jin Feng about his identity.
"Who is he?"
"What is his name? Did not really catch it."
"Stanley."
"OMG he is one of the big shot"
"Really ar?"
"Ya, he is the general manager of South East CDC!"

Dinner was ok... And we played the number game.
"If 1 is 4, 2 is 5... What is 15?"
Really got the guests at my table puzzled haha...
"We will tell you the answer when we visit HK."

Our guests put up a video and a performance for us that night.
After which, we spammed countless number of photos.
Where are all my photos ppl?
Most were taken with our HK guests cameras.
Tag in fb pls.
Not to say exchanging emails.
We were having too much fun that we refuse to leave the room.
Wonderful night we had. But all good things come to an end.

Day 7 (Tuesday, 29/12)
I joined everyone at the airport, in MJ uniform and my guitar.
Last moment we spent together...
Before sending them off to the departure gate.
Prisca cried before going in, till her nose and eyes turned red ='(
Yea, we were sad too.
Luckily the situation was under control before the whole bunch of us broke into tears.
Don't worry, we will see you guys in HK soon!

Went out for dinner at Just Acia Marina branch with a few of my sec sch mates.
Tok a lot and spammed a lot of ice cream.
One of Kent's school mate was there.
And we were trying to expose him haha.
We played 敲敲杯after everyone was so full up with ice cream and drinks.
Took a walk to esplanade and guess who I saw.
Sherry! He was bringing another HK girl around the city area.
After which we went to Uni Quo and I got myself a cheap jacket at $9.90

Today (Wednesday, 30/12)
Went NTU with my sis.
Ate cheap food and tour around the school.
Got foolscap pads with NTU logo!
I had forgotten when did I came up with this idea of collecting foolscap pads =D

Below are all my personal opinion not directed to anything:
NTU is so much better than NUS campus.
The whole place look a whole lot newer.
Especially the chemical and biological science building.
The whole NUS campus is like so rundown and haunted.
NTU is comparable to SMU campus, but jus a little older.
Big library, enough books to fill my house.
I am so going NTU.
Unless, honourable scholarship to oversea university.

Spend hell lots of time typing this post.
Time which I can use to finish up my math package.
Hence I should come back to reality - miserable life of a JC system.
11 more days to school reopen!
1 more year in this prison before going into another!
And I am looking foward to university life 4 years from now!

After returning from Vietnam,
I am currently engaged in my "class CIP"
Which is essentially to host Hong Kong ppl for exchange program.
Vietnam was not tat spectacular.
Communist, weird ppl (I mean those in the tour group, not locals there) and shopping.
That will veri much sum up the trip.

There are two reasons why I place inverted commas for "class CIP"
1) No even half the class turn up on any single day so far.
2) A one of a kind experience that is nothing like any of the CIP I had done so far.
I will elaborate on point 2 further.

Day 1 (Wednesday, 23/12)
Arrived in the airport at approximately 12.25pm
Waited till abt 2pm (A long wait...) for them to collect their luggage from belt 19.
Depart for hotel. Check-in.
Then we wait for them to gather at some "Grand Hall" in the hotel.

While the hall was filling up,
Firdaus tried to start a conversation with one of the few early birds.
"Are you one of the exchange student?"
I looked down onto her name tag, which wrote "Dr Carol Ma..."
" Err, she's a doctor..."
Yea, we had a good laugh.
I think tat tat really made her day, making her feel much younger.

Next we have some introduction.
Onli then did I realised almost all of them are taking art subjects in the university.
Not long before we leave for Pasir Ris.
On the bus trip, I tried to tok to those behind my seat.
It did not went veri well until...
"Can you speak chinese?"
"会啊"
"原来你会说普通话，不早讲！"
Right, newer generation of HK ppl speak chinese.
Dad's advice was not right everytime.
Apparently, they have better chinese than some Singaporeans.
I should thank her (Sorry, not good wif names!) for enlightening me.

Prawn fishing, which I caught nothing.
Dinner and some "entertainment", ruined by the soft volume of the mics.
And Dr got my socks for gift exchange, my new Esprit socks.
Guess all of them are tired on the first day.

Day 2 (Thursday, 24/12)
Reached Payar Lebar SouthEast CDC at 9.45am
Did not know that we need not meet so early.
Mayor tok... Blah Blah...

Talk to Vivian over lunch...
She 's quite a nice lady who is slight better at communicating in English.
Learn quite a bit on the educational system there.

After lunch, we went for an "amazing race"
$50 for transport wow =D
And I showed them what we can do with Mr Yusof Ishak on the $50 bill.
Group 1,2 and 4 decided to join up and screw the original race plan.
Instead, we brought them for Roti Prata, Mutton soup, Malay Kue and Teh Tarik.
Cabs to Chinatown where they tasted the square egg tarts.
Gosh I did not even know that such thing exists in Chinatown.

MRT to Orchard.
Running late and we did not do our amazing race ws =P
Char Kway Teow for dinner.
Obviously our groups did not eat much...
Our CDC youths tried to say the cantonese phase of "你吃饱吗？" in threatening manner.
Wanton leftover was the bomb.
It can at least feed someone for 3 meals.

Walked along Orchard road all the way back to hotel.
Which makes me wonder how long since I last hang out there...

Today was suppose to be home stay program for them.
Sadly my parents were in Malaysia for de weekend and hence I hosted nobody.
As I was saying, this CIP was nothing like wat I had done before.
And definitely, the best CIP ever =D

NUS - Bristol Chemistry workshop day 2
Today is slightly better than yesterday.

First experiment was making an azo dye called Orange II.
Yea, jus mixing up chemicals because I was told to do so.
There is a part when the solution look like orange ice tea in a conical flask.
Little did I know that the dye stained my right thumb orange.
And it is still a little orangy right now.

Second experiment was making the 'oil of winter green'
Basically it is esterification of salicyclic acid wif methanol.
Finally something I am familiar with.
After heating under reflux for 40 min, our solution looks different from the rest.
We got a clear solution while others get some cloudy mixture.
I thought that since ester is insoluble, this experiment will be yet another failure =(
But surprisingly, we obtained a molten substance after cooling it down.
And we managed to obtain the oil, which smells like root beer.
I swear that the smell is addictive.
This session seems to be the best practical session.
In conclusion, practical session should not be held in isolation without theory.

Lecture in the afternoon was even better.
We had got live demonstrations in the LT.
Fun wif N2(l), H2O2, CO2(s), combustion of H2 balloons and CH3OH
Why can't lectures in MJ be like this?
Right, lack of budget from MOE.

However, this is still not worth S$267.50
And this was reflected in my feedback form =D

Actually I am quite reluctant to blog due to my laziness.
But here it goes.

Guitar camp was fun but I will skip the nitty little details of it.
The onli thing worth highlighting is that there is an AWESOME staff lounge in MJC.
Massage chairs in it are great and Mr Chia is veri kind to us ^^

NUS - Bristol Chemistry workshop day 1
Half the time while I am doing practical, I have no idea what a hell an I doing.
The theory behind the lab session was not strong enough.
We threw away what we made during the practical sessions =.=
And I will say that I benefited little from this, at least for today.
Definitely, S$ 267.50 is not worth at all.

In order to feel better, Cheng Boon and I decided to spam things there.
For example, we use filter paper jus to dry our apparatus ^^
And I threw one magnetic follower into the "non-chlorinated waste" box.
I shall think of more ideas to spam tmr...

However, there are still takeaways from today session.
- Magnetic follower is dam fun =D
- TLC is more of an improved version of paper chromatography.
- University food is CHEAP! (Actually I found this out long ago)
- Chanel #5 perfume contain some chemical that smells horrible.

I will grow up to be like the prof. from Bristol.
So that I can rip others off during Summer and Winter vacations.
But to reach that Ph.d seems far......

I will be back with mroe updates tmr.

P.S Mr Chong hasn't eat the chocolate we gave him hmm...

After much thoughts today...
I have came to a conclusion:
To choose Chemistry instead of Chemical Engineering in University.
Preferably, NTU.

With this in mind, I drafted out two possible plan:

A) Best scenario ever
- Gp tuition works well
- AAA/A
Get myself a scholarship to some pro college oversea (MIT =D)

B) Not so good a plan
- Gp screwed up
- Grades filled wif Bs or not able to get a scholarship
School of Chemistry and Biological Science, NTU.

This is jus a draft, I will improve on it.
PS: I shouldn't even make plan B; always landed up in the backup plan B =(

2012 - The Apocalypse
End of the world? Or jus a myth?
There is many debates over this issue, which side are you on?

For me, I believe that this whole "end of the world" is jus crap.
Even NASA believe that there is nothing special regarding the date 12 December 2012.

I have jus watched a documentary on 2012 this morning on History.
Prophet Nostradamus was a great man I must say.
A man with wits and wisdom.
But does that mean that his prediction will be true?
For start, many prophets predicted dates for the return of christ.
But none of them got it right.
Human make mistakes.
We should base the truth on facts and calculations instead.
And not believing something jus because many others think the same way.
God gave mankind brain for a reason.
I am not here to convince everyone that 2012 is not true.
But, more important, to convince everyone to think for yourself.

Of course we cannot rule out the possibility of disasters created by man.
Some country may decide to nuke the whole world, maybe?
But at least it will not be a chain of natural disasters so significant to wipe out Earth.
Again, these factors have no direct relation with the specific date in 2012.
I mean, it can occur anytime right?

I seriously hate the movie 2012.
It is exaggerating the issue when there are no real concrete evidences at all.
And this convinces more people to buy the story.
Perhaps all Hollywood films are like this.
But I felt strongly for this one.
And I will NEVER watch it.

However, this issue is not entirely bad.
A little scare is good once in a while.
Does the world really give a damn about environmental issues?
What about peace? Iraq war, anybody?
And all of a sudden people are rushing to mend these dire situations.
Why? Influence from the possibility of a major apocalypse of course.
To some extent, the scare does influence society as a whole, in a good way.

But, I will like to ask:
Will people continue their effort after 12 December 2012?
Will we learn our lesson?
Onli time will tell.

I will like to take this opportunity to thank my group mates.
For it won't be such a smooth route if not for everyone's contribution.
And also, I will like to thank Ms Sarina.

Few more days to go...
Hope I do well and make the school proud.

Notice that I use the word "break" instead of "holiday".
This December break will be filled with lots of activities.

-Class chalet in the last week of break

Good thing that I have a week holiday in Vietnam.

Daylight robbery.
It better worth the money.

School hours are shorter, with no lessons but I still feel sick.

Gp: 45, E
I am actually quite happy that I have passed it.
I still remembered that I was convinced that I would definitely fail this time for GP.
Going for School of Thoughts tuition next year.
Hope it helps.

History: 58, C
Despite spending so much more time on history this round time,
Score was similar to that of mid year.
Wasted, should have spent more time on chem, which I will elaborate.

Chemistry: 58.5, C
This was sacrifice for history, which did not really pay off.
I expected this grade after I did the paper.
Nevertheless, there is still some disappointment, both myself and Mr Goh.
Sometimes we make the wrong decision, don't we?

Physic: 62, B
I will say this was within my expectation.
Did not put in as much effort for physic this time round.
Did not even do the revision package given to me (which I thought I had lost it).
I could have gotten a higher B hmm...

Mathematics: 88, A
I thought that math grade will be of the following inequality:
70 < x < 80, where x is the marks I gotten. Far lesser careless mistake than I expected. At least it is something I do right in promo. General comments: Very much this result is something I deserved. If onli I was not so lazy after mid years. And that I had not fall sick for a week due to suspected H1N1 . Things might turn out differently. Oh well...

Await my promotion to J2, where life will be even tougher.
Marks don't define me, I define my mark.

PW meeting for 2 days, how nice =.=
Thought I could go for some outing but PW has taken over piority.
Sigh, come to think of it, this is jus the beginning of the PW nightmare.

We had learnt a valuable and important lesson yesterday.
THERE IS NO PLUG IN MAC.
Somehow we ended up in staff canteen of T2.

Guess who I saw during lunch hour?
There is a whole group of NAS teachers are eating beside our table.
Ms Jamie Tan, Ms Pauline Choi, Mr Alvin Tan and a few others.
Good thing tat they don't recognise me.
Reminds me of days in NAS, where life was beautiful.
Get back to reality! U still have a pw to work on!

I jus feel tired, tired of everything.

Currently stuck at home, unable to go anywhere.
Seems like a house arrest =(
The reason?
Well, this is a result of what happen 2 days again......

On Thursday:
I am feeling rather lethargic in school, with a really bad sore throat.
Went home 'early' before my last period PE.
Found out that I had a mild fever of 37.8...
Then to the doctor...
After examination, the doctor gave me a 5-DAYS-MC till monday.
I was like O.o and ask for the reason.
He suspected that I caught the H1N1 virus but my condition was mild.
This really freaking scare the hell out of me.
Then I went home all worried and quarantined from my family members.

Today is a special day because I no longer have sore throat! ^^
I guess most probably the doctor overreacted or something...
Yea, life sux when u cannot go anywhere out of ur house.

Perhaps this is a blessing in disguise...
I can spend more time studying myself at home rather than wasting time in school.
Tons of work haiz...

Although it was quite unsatisfactory that I did not obtain an A for any subject,
This was considered good for many who unfortunately hit the jackpot with Us.
I shall aim higher... for H3? Or maybe not.... Still deciding.

Not onli that, he even got a Nobel Prize.
So why must there be a requirement of distinction for O level EL in order to take the programme?

Another few more hours before 'June Holiday' ends.
Also, it marks the start of MYE horror......

First off is math + history, which is tmr.
Then a day off to mug...
Physic on wed and end off on thurs with chem.

Feel that I am still not prepared for Mid years, despite hours of investment into studying.
Especially history, when we did not have a single test on.
I nv felt this way before =(
Wonder what kind of grades will I get...

This whole 'holiday' was quite meaningful to me....
Especially when I can catch up with my work.
Nv really played and enjoy myself that much like before.
University entrance ticket is nv cheap.

Sometimes hardwork didn't pay off.
Like the screw up grades I got for O lvl?
I wonder why I still push myself so hard all this while.
Yea, this is one of my weakness: I cared too much many a time.

Another week gone...
One last week before "June Holiday" ends.

I should be prepared for mid years after next week...
Still feel quite screwed for history.... To write 3 x 4 pages essays in 2h 15 min =(
I dun think it is possible...
O well.... dun think of it too much.

I had this dream last night that I failed my mid year.
Then I had to see the principal to be advanced.
Yea, I noe that we do not have to see the principal if we fail mid year.
Dreams often have no sense of logic, do they?
This shows that subconsciously I am under emotional stress.
Ya, JC jus screws our lives up.
No wonder my mother said that I kept grinding my teeth last night.
Nightmares~

Plan for today:
-Complete topic 3 and repeatedly read 2 and 3 to memorise for history.
-Sleep in the afternoon? Did not slept much last night.

Last day of lecture.

Trip to KL is coming.
That will mean I will forsake few days to study....
Hopefully 2 weeks will be enough.

Guitar camp is cancelled.
The school rule stated that all organised activities are to have their proposal sent in at least 2 weeks before the event commence.

Wow, I am blogging on a weekday.
Can't help, today is too eventful =D

Soccer final!
We reached there dam early, 1h 15min b4 the match started.
Having nothing better to do, we play wif our air filled balloon sticks (I forgot wat it is called).
After what it seems like eternity, the match began.

1st half was exciting, with VJ scored within...... 10 min or so?
Correct me if I am wrong.
We caught up but the score levelled up at 2-2 by half time.

Something that that VJ right winger did in the 1st half really pissed us off.
Yea, that no. 5.
As he dribbled the ball past MJ audience crowd, he held his hand up, palm opened, with thumb pointing at his nose.
Yea, that stirred up anger among the crowd.
I heard that he also zham our keeper's face =(

In the 2nd half, if I was not wronged, no. 5 scored the third goal for VJ.
And...... he suddenly had a leg cramp after that goal.
That cramp seemed SO serious and we were VERY concerned about him!

The match ended with 3-2, and we lost.
There goes our champion title and our winning streak.
Kind of depressing but we know that they deserve it.
Ms Lai had a small talk wif no. 5.
Wonder what is it about ^^

Prize presentation.
MJ crowd jeered at the no. 5 when he received his personal trophy for top few scorers.
We should not jeer, even if he had bad sportsmanship =(
But we did clap for VJ when they got their team trophy for first place.

He better not get caught wearing that no. 5 soccer jersey.
Something might happen to him... I dunno...
Better to be safe than sorry, u noe.
DISCLAIMER: I am not anti VJ, jus disapprove of no. 5's attitude.

Enough of soccer.
Both math and chem lectures chionged so fast today.
Yea, lessons are delayed due to sports season.
And my chem test got a 14.5, C.
Kind of expect at least a B for this test.
So I had disappoint myself again this time...

"June Holidays" are coming!
Time really past so fast.
I foresee revision worksheets for June.
Not to forget, honourable GPP.

Onli 13% of all who took physic passed the test O.o
Surprisingly I passed this and failed the 1st one, which is so much easier.
I knew that I always sux at measurements.
But pass is NEVER ENOUGH!
Do better next time...

Chem test was easier than what I expected.
Lets see how much I will get.
I screwed the 1st math question, dam similar triangles.
If I made no careless mistake, I should get quite a decent mark.

Went cheering yesterday.
All the way to Jurong and no transport back.
Dam waste of time =(
Stood on MRT from Chinese garden all the way to Simei.
The school is so dam bloody cheapskate.
No wonder Ms Koh and Ms Tan are leaving.
Nah, teachers' pays are independent of the school.

I felt quite down upon hearing the news that both of them are leaving =(
Why must this kinda things happen to us?
This is jus so, so unfair.

Wat should I talk about today?

Physic test!
Surprisingly I passed =D
Although the grade I had gotten was not that fantastic, but I am still happy ^^
Learning point: not to say that I fail until I got back the marked paper.

Pull-up update: 3 pull ups O.o
Godwin taught me a new method of doing pull up on friday.
That is to lock my arms and depend solely on biceps to pull myself up.
Surprisingly it worked!
I am able to do 3 pull ups now with this new method =D
Guess my deltoids are the ones causing me not to be able to do pull ups.
I will train harder...

3 tests on monday.
Jus so great, isn't it?
I MUST GET GOOD GRADES!
Or maybe jus improve slowly...
Now I am having 2nd thoughts about taking H3...
I think this 2 years are gonna be the darkest bits in my life.

Ahh... Mid of term 2 already!

Jus had NAFA and I still can't do a single pull up hmm...
Guess there goes my record in NAFA, never had a nil in NAFA before.
Quite a setback though.
And this also means that I have to train more....
I dun wan to go into army for extra training =(

I think I screwed my last one up...
It was definitely not hard.
I will not screw this one up again.

Swine flu had resulted in everyone going home later by 15 min.
I bet no one is happy abt it.
So am I.

Feeling rather upset nowadays.
Spend most of my time painting negative pictures abt the future in my head.
Can't complete all my work.
Score badly for tests.
Can't do fast enough for assignments.
These things kept me worried and preoccupied my free time.
So I will rather not have free time.
It is NOT ok for me to do badly jus because the whole J1 did badly.

1st math mentoring.
Zames was quite good at math, except a few careless mistakes here and there...
He was actually better than I thought.
So much for waking up early in de morning at 7+, thx to VJC open house.

Kind of struck the jackpot today.
We found a new location for usual saturday gathering.
The onli thing that lack is..... food.
On top of that I still have guitar lessons at 4 =(
We shall evaluate whether or not to use that place.

Lots of work this weekend, and most of it involve using the com.
Still had not started on my scrapbook...
So screwed.

Labour day holiday next week!
another long weekend that I long for.
But believe that it comes wif a costly price tag; there will be more work to be done.

Yea I passed my 2nd chemistry test!
Realised that Mr Goh short charge me 2 marks after going through the test.
And my name is not on the chem board near GO... not fair....

I used to have no doubt of entering a junior college.
Thought I prepared for it but I was wrong...

And March holidays are coming.
Not much of a holiday actually.
It is jus sch days that u can wake up later.

Yea, I failed my first ever chem test!
9/25, an astonishing U grade.
It doesn't feel so bad when everyone got roughly de same score.
Nevertheless, it is still quite hurting for me =(
Need to adapt to JC style of tests soon, before all my grades start to drop.

Finally find time to blog =D
No tutorial due tmr and weekends approaching.

The most relevent topic to talk abt today is definitely the CHEMISTRY TEST.
Yes, it is the 1st test I have in MJC.
The whole dam paper is so bloody long and we onli have 50 mins to complete it.
In the end, I left a structured qn blank =(
Chem department really feel jolly when they torture us....
I should be able to pass provided that I make no careless mistake.
Never have I feel this way before.
I do wonder wat is the purpose behind setting a paper which is impossible to finish.
Is it true that in A level examination it is impossible to complete the paper? Maybe.
This whole test made me feel like I dun know any abt stoichometry.
I predict physic test next week will be jus as bad.
Now I see why many had choosen the poly path wif single L1R5 score.
And the best part is, PW is not even in it.
Life will be tougher in term 2.
JC life sux. It really does.
I had let down Mrs Teh =(

Term 1 is coming to an end!
It means that I will finally have time to revise and catch up wif my studies.
I think I will be busy between school and my 2nd home in the holidays.

I should be doing tutorial now....nvm.

Met Kelly today, dun even recognize her anymore.
Maybe I too suffer from the cannot-recognize-faces illnesses that Ms Wu suffers.
She turn out to be in the same class as Jansen and Cheng Boon.
Yea, it's a small world after all.
I was told that Meishan and Jessica are both in MJC as well.
Just last week I met Neville, in the toilet. (I noe, wat a queer place)
Kelly asked me y I lost so much weight since primary school.
This is a mystery that me myself is trying to find out for the past 2 years.

JC life is really......
I can't a suitable word to describe it.
Stressing? Maybe.
The fact is that I dun feel happy in JC.
The feeling is so different.
Perhaps it is the workload.
Tutorial seems endless and sort of make me feel insecured.
Perhaps it is the long lessons hours.
I haven't watch discovery channel and history channel since sch started.
Perhaps it is that I am too used to practising instead of learning (It has been 1/2 yrs since I learn new things)
I will give myself time, time to adapt and find out wat exactly is that something which make me so empty.

I am gonna sleep soon so I will make this post a short 1.

Practically spent the weekend doing nothing... except trigo tutorial.
Spent half my sat in my 2nd home and the other at Wydre's house.
"Valentine day, today sure no one de la!"
We were so wrong.
Nevertheless, it feels good to be at home.
I really miss that place veri much.
Clifford told me Chia Chang (who scored 7 too) appealed successfully from arts to sci stream and to 4 H2s in TJ.
Yea, y must he say all these now?
I should look forward and not to be trapped in the past.

Did nothing but to eat, drink and play bridge at Wydre's house.
Felt quite guilty abt letting the birthday girl did all (or most) of the painting job while the rest of us were enjoying ourselves.
But on second thought, I might ruin the banner if I attempt to paint.
I wonder when was the last time I hold a brush.
Amos and his pineapple lol.

Today, as usual, is my guitar class.
3 more weeks to exam, time really flies.
Need to practise more on the coming weeks.

Went national museum after that.
Not exactly the most interesting thing on Earth.

The 2nd day.

Got trapped on the bus for 35min today compared to yesterday's 20min.
2 factors:
- Mini traffic congestion.
- Ppl refusal to move further in the bus.
Which is a more important factor? EYA. [12m]
Still can't get over o lvl stuffs.

Never had I seen such cooperative bunch of people (except sec 1) b4.
The cheering section is so wonderfully done in such minimal time.
This onli make me feel that NAS SC sux.

Checked out de library today.
The air conditioning is crap, seriously. (2nd floor)
Stuffy room.

Managed to convinced the geo lecturer to allow me to take H1 geo.
Lecturer: 'Do u write well?'
Me: 'I have no choice but to take 1 contrasting subject that requires essay writing.'
Lecturer: 'That is true..... Write ur name on this paper.'
That doesn't sounds hard at all eh =D

Geo lecture further confirm that I had not made the wrong choice.
But I need to work doubly hard.

Ahhh.... A new beginning....
First day at MJ, first taste of being a freshman.
We look like some sort of clown that amuse de J2s.
As if they had nv seen ppl who wear differently from them.
I reached sch pretty early at 6.40.
After all de boring talks in whole morning, we got to try demo lecture.
If wat I had experienced today is wat lecture is all abt, I will be glad that I am in JC.
Chemistry lecture is abt ionic equilibria.
It had been long since I last read that chapter but I still remember it well.
Injecting phenolthalein in presence of basic calcium hydroxide looks stupid ^^

Currently waiting for the clock to struck 12 - arrival of the year of ox.

Hopefully PSP 3000 will be unmodifiable throughout this whole year.
Onli then price of PSP 2000 will continue to soar in the market.
Once the price of 2nd hand PSP 2000 soars to my speculation, I will sell =D

Ahh... 2009
A great year to come.

It feels kind of strange not going to sch yesterday.
Especially when the sch is so close to my house and I can see my fellow juniors.
Actually I feel kind of sad that I no longer have sch (At least for now).
Sometimes I really wonder were those days mugging and preparing for O happier than now.
Maybe I had lost my goal, making me so empty inside.
Maybe I jus like to study.
Or maybe I am too bored up at home.

My psp came up wif a problem yesterday, which I later found out to be 'stuck pixel' problem.
1 tiny pixel on de psp screen lit continuously green.
I remember I heard of this problem as 1 of the most common 'defect' in psp.
So I intended to send it to where it came from for reparation today.
This morning, while waiting for the shop to open so that I can call in, I came across an article.
The article claim to play a video provided on psp for few hours and a 60% chance to work.
The video is extracted from one that fix such problem in LCD screen of television.
Since I have nothing to lose (except electricity cost for video to run), I decided to give it a shot.
And surprise, surprise, THE SCREEN RECOVER WOOOH!
Yea, u bet I am happy abt it.

Chinese new year is coming.
And I am not veri excited over it.
I dunno y but it seems to me that I enjoy it more when I was a kid.
As I age, that feeling slowly fade off.

Went for dental yesterday.
Dr Lim said that my molar has great improvement.
Hence I need not wear the rubber (or elastic) on de right side of my mouth.
Half a seal left then.

Tooth hurts this morning.
Power chain made 4 of my front teeth hurt.
Half the seal in my mouth feels awkward.

Clearing up my secondary sch stuffs the other day.
Can't believe that I had 3 thick piles of papers collected in 2 years.
Off to recycle! Except my notes.
They have quite some sentimental values to me.
Maybe one day I had to let it go.

Dream of results this morning.
This is de first dream that I had after so many dreamless nights.
I guess judgement day drawing nearer is the cause of why my sub conscious mind kept thinking of it.

Still have a few weeks more to enjoy myself.

Back from holiday.
It seems that time flies pretty fast.
December is coming to an end.
It seems like jus a few weeks ago that I took my last paper.
RESULTS ARE COMING OUT SOON!

This trip mainly comprise of 2 parts: Hong Kong and China.

Interesting features abt communist China:
1) Great tourist spot for cigarette lovers! Air is filled wif nicotine any place, anytime!
2) Experience midtown madness in real life! Take a cab in China!
3) There is never a boring moment on the road without the sound of the car horns.
4) Mucus produced are constantly 'excreted' onto the floor everywhere on the street.
5) Dinner can last 3 h each.
6) U will appreciate catalytic converters MUCH MUCH more after a trip there. (As much as me)
7) Traffic lights and zebra crossing both lost their functions.
8) Hotel beds contain fleas/some irritants which cause rashes and itch on my body.

The trip there sux.
Avoiding spits.
Trying to gasp for oxygen in the contaminated air of nicotine.
Eating food that I dun really like.
Feeling so extra in the whole lion dancing/wu shu tour group.
Trying veri hard to listen to Cantonese when everyone jolly well understand Chinese in de tour group. Why not tok in Chinese instead? I will appreciate it veri much.
Waiting and waiting in a tour group. For who? Dunno.
If this is a Chan Brother tour, Chan Brother will go bankrupt in this recession period.
Guess the onli thing interesting is the part where we get to buy cheap stuffs.

I remember a moment when my sis and I were too bored that we actually count how many people stepped on the freshly spited spit.
I noe it sounds disgusting.
The 1st guy stepped on it and printed 3 other spit patches in the floor.
Worst than horror movie eh?

Yea, we should have nv followed this tour if not for the wu shu organisation my father is in.
Come to think of it we should have rejected this tour when mt father told us =.=
Anyway, I am glad that it is all over.
I will nv believe in all the discovery channel craps abt how is China like.

After that is Hong Kong.
Disneyland is fun =D
Rides there are of least exciting but the shows are awesome!
Faked snow made of soapy water falls from top of the buildings =.=
Fireworks rox, especially when it is behind the castle of the sleeping beauty.
It seems so magical, like the castle wif tinkerbell at the start of every Disney production.
But all magic comes to an end.

Another interesting thing is the space museum.
It portrays tons of information like those shown on History Channel: The Universe
Jus that many of the information have no link to one another on History Channel.
But I see the links in the museum =D
And was enlighten by them ^^
Apart from that, there are interactive stations.
One of it is the Moonwalk station (Not the MJ style)
It stimulate the situations when astronauts walk on the moon at 1/6 of his weight.
Yea it is fun =D

Not to forget the gigantic Wanton in HK.
3 wantons filled wif fresh gigantic prawns + noodles onli cost..... less than SGD $4
It is really nice =D
I can eat wantons all days XD

Ngong Ping 360 is a total waste of time.
Since it is so much of a waste of time, i shall not explain it further.

AT LEAST THERE IS NO SPITS IN HK!
But my sis and I grow a habit of looking on the floor when walking to avoid spits.

Having fun wif my new psp...
So many things happened so fast....

Haven seen many of my friends for a long time....

It has been a long time, I know.

'O' lvl is jus around the corner.
Everyone should be studying hard right now.

For a certain reason I feel pointless doing prelim papers given by teachers.
Paper after paper, jus doing those works for the sake of doing.
This was not wat I plan to have after the syllabus had completed.
I thought it was going to be something more meaningful.
The reality turn out to be something worst than those days when syllabus was not completed.

Post prelim preparation (PPP) was not useful at all.
It seems more like a waste of time.
The worst part was that I could not even concentrate and do work in class.
Thx god we had math periods.
PPP, please end soon.

I dun think I will post again until the end of 'O' lvl.
I promise that after the 'O' lvl I will post more.

I will say this issue made me think differently abt some ppl.

And surprise, surprise I am one of the two who insisted that I do not wan a shirt.
After much convincing by mdm Ashikin, I still do not feel that I want that shirt.
Allow me to rephrase: I do not agree to the idea of making a new shirt.
I believe that many others are also reluctant to buy that shirt but bought it afterall.

Lets reverse the time and return to 1 year ago.
We were making this addidas shirt for $30.
"Pls buy the shirt, we will make it optional for next year."
I believe I heard something like this last year.
So the shirt is optional this year - my 1st point.

I remember that I did not complain or object violently last year.
I jus paid that $30 and I get my shirt.
But we never get to really use that shirt and I wore it less than 5 times last year.
Y waste the money on the $30 and not use it for class outing or something?
We can jolly well use last year shirt - my 2nd point.

When I got home that day wif my shirt, my dad told me:
"Wat happen to those who cannot afford $30 to buy the shirt?"
That makes hell lots of sense in me.
Far more sense than wat Mdm Ashikin told us that bio lesson.
Do we care for those who cannot afford it?
Do u people ask each individual wat is their reason for not buying?
Does this seemed considerate at all? - my 3th point.

I am not saying that I am poor or watsoever.
If I said that I will probably be beaten up.
Y must we get an addidas shirt when we can get 1 that cost half the price?
I can buy 2 shirt then, WOW!
And I said they won't force us to buy another next year.
My sis told me: " Dun say that too early. They WILL."
True enough, there is a second shirt this year.
And this is the closest thing to 'force' I had ever seen.

I have Jia Hao, then Abhishek persuding me to buy.
Till I find it a bit irritating.
Dun get me wrong, u guys had good intention.
But I really stand to my point of not buying.
No matter how much SMS u ppl sent me, how hard u persude me, it is not gonna worked.
I even heard that my classmates are forking out money to buy the shirts of Clifford and me.
Seriously I felt very touch that my class cared so much abt me.
But if this really turn out to be the case, I will not accept that shirt even more.
It is like someone treated u to buffet in hotel and u accept it.
This made me feel like a free loader.
And u people know that I am not this kind of person.
So if u really care abt me, pls do not buy for me.
This will be wat is going to happen if I recieve the shirt:
1st I will talk nicely to reject the shirt.
If that does not work, I will pay the cost of the shirt and that shirt goes into the dustbin.
Trust me I really mean it.
I will no be part of the class anymore. (Although physically I am.)
We don't wan to have such a situation where relationships really turn that sour, dun we?

If I hurt anyone in this process, I apologise for my action.

Another week has started.
Prelim will start next thursday.
Kind of hoping that prelim will come faster so that I will no go to sch for boring lessons.

The CL students got back their O lvl CL result.
This reminded me that I got an A2 for my CL last year.
It sort of affected me as many of my close friend gotten an A1.
I fear that my HCL will be a problem and I might not pass it after all.
Yea, pessimistic.

I must complete my entire Chem TYS by today, no matter wat.
All I left was a section A, 2 section B and 3 Section C of chem to complete.
That is approximately 1 and a half paper, slightly more.

Got hooked up on Foxtrot lately.
All thx to Clifford who start digging up those comics from the library.
The collection was little, and I am finishing it =D

Not going night study today.
And I dun think I will go anymore.
It took me quite some time to realise that it is useless after all.
All the toking.... noises.... it is all wrong.
I can do wat I had done in the 3 h of night study in 1h at night.
So.... That is the last draw.

Another week is coming to an end.
Time really flies.
Can't really believe that 82 more days I will be done wif everything.
And after the O lvl I won't be studying this same old nonsense right now.

Today I found out that Britain educational system is jus like Singapore.
They do not look for the knowledge but rather, the way u answer.
Perhaps this is the educational system we get in this world.
Not so much of do we understand but do we know how to answer.
They may seem the same.
But they are different
This made me recall something Mr Chee once said.
'It is not the knowledge that counts, but the wisdom inside u.'
From today onwards, understanding the knowledge is secondary.
Knowing how to writing is a way that will score is the main focus.
Evolution of education; education is no longer to educate individual.

I am currently waiting for the sun to set.
Night is cooler, and is better to absorb.
Maybe I should sleep in the afternoon and study till late at night.

Ryan got an A2 for his CCA.
A mixure of feeling inside me.
One side of me felt happy for him.
Wif an additional bonus point, he can get in a better school.
Another side of me feelt unfair and angry.
He practically did nothing in CCA except for SC and he got an A2.
How hard did I fought to get into the school team to represent the sch for the past 4 years?
And in the end I merely won him by 3 points in CCA record.
This is seriously unfair and injustice.
I will like to question the Educational system.
Is this the way to promote holistic education for Singapore?
By letting a person who dun even attend CCA except SC to get A2?
Not saying that he had contributed greatly to SC.
Wat he had done, I had done too.
This include being a SC for 2.5 years and be a class chairperson for a year.
He can jus skip CCA and study at home while all of us are busy wif our CCA.
Let me count. We spent about 936 hours in our CCA for the entire sec life.
He got this advantage in the time for his studies.
And in the end he got the same grade and me?
If this is wat is printed on his O lvl certificate,
I will join a CCA that meets onli 1 time in 2 weeks.
And I will skip CCA frequently.
MARK my words.
'A balance lifestyle'; 'We do not value those who onli study'
The above words mean nothing to me now.
The Educational system had proven itself to me that CCA is not important at all.
So everyone out there pls do not go for your CCA.
Onli foolish people go for their CCA.
Results are the one which matter most in this world.
Educational system a failure? No!
I am the foolish one who did not realise this fact, which make me so disappointed wif the system.
Perhaps this is the adult world; They dun mean wat they say.
Either we adapt to it or we get eliminated.

Feeling a little sick today.
I jus got the feeling that I will fall sick tmr if I don't do anything to stop it today.
Thx to Kent who made me have running nose.
He came in the morning wif running nose and before I knew it, I caught it too.

The Revenge Of The Fly!
A fly harass us yesterday.
U got it, it was the same specie as the one Kent killed.
How can a fly survive in a library?
Wat do they feed on? Books?
I guess that it was the 100 Most Important Chemical compound that attracted it.
Moreover, it is the book that killed the other last time.
It is the scent of his dead partner on the book....
It sort of distracted all of us for at least 30 min.

I promised Kent that if my organic chem test paper is not on the top of the stack this time,
I will spend one weekday which I am suppose to go for night study in the library wif him.
A small bet it may seem, but I am definitely on it.
It will be really a disappointment to myself if I am not able to beat the rest in my own game.
Moreover, I begin wif organic chem 1 month earlier than the rest.
And also, I read the reference book.
So I really should score this time.

At the end of it we are still taking the A lvl examination.

The entire library is seriously flooded wif ppl today.
Today has the most number of people I seen queueing up b4 the library open.
The whole row of corridor outside the library is completely filled.
For a second I am believe that the librarian lining up inside will be tramped by the crowded.
There is some function on the 3rd floor for them.
But there are still lots of ppl around today.

Down to the last 2 chapters on my Chemistry for advance level.
I will be able to finish it by today.
And I will re-read it again, this time taking note of the formula and remembering stuff inside.
This is jus plan A.
I am intending to do the same for physic reference book after I am an expert in this.
Hopefully I will clear both H2 subjects by the end of this year.
And I can relax in JC =D
Or will I?

Maybe there is such thing as addiction to studying.
So far I had already seen many examples.
Scientifically proven that this actually exist?

Today I realise that soap are actually made from fats O.o
Imagine rubbing a lump of fats onto yourself.

I shall begins wif a story abt a creature that contain onli 8 chromosomes and 6 legs.
In this library, we met this fly.
Either this fly is dumb or it lost its senses.
It does not move when we swap near it.
So while it was landing on the chem reference book,
Kent attempt to kill it wif the 100 most important compound book.
Due to its stupidity, it was squashed.
That is not the worst part.
After it's horrible death, transform from a 3D creature to a 2D creature,
Its womb burst open.
Around 10 tiny MAGGOTS started to crawl onto both books.
I am seriously disturbed by the scene.
It is jus.... sickening.
That is not all.
Near evening, Kent brought other books on chem and share wif me.
To my shocking horror, I saw a ******* bluebottle in between 2 pages in a chem dictionary!
Both Kent and Clifford laughed like mad people for almost 20 min.
They said I look dam funny.
The entire section of chem book in the library is cursed.
I swear I will never look at Chem book in the library ever again.

Back to serious matter.
Night study........... sucks.
Can't think of better plan.
Maybe we should try the quiet section of the library like wat Clifford says.
IF there is something called the 'quiet' section of the library.
From my point-of-view, no where around 1 hector of that piece of land is quiet.
Maybe I am exaggerating.

Dental today.
Found out that he put some sort of translucent wire on my btm.
To be more specific, elastic nylon looking band.
It resembles much like the polymer I seen in the book I saw today.
And I can feel the pain on my btm.

Wanted to go school library for night study after dental.
To my shocking horror I realise that not onli the library is full but also the study corners outside staff room..
And the atmosphere is near to silent.
Looks like I had to try again tmr.
This time I will stay from afternoon till 9pm.
Perhaps it is new and hence the crowd.
We shall see.

Jus read online that the G8- BRI, CAN, USA, RUS, FRA, GER, ITA and JAP
Had agreed on reducing greenhouse gas emission by 50% in 2050.

Weekend finally.
It will be 2 days of slackness b4 mon, when the work get started.
Taking a break is to run a longer distance.

Went library today with Kent and a new member: Clifford.
I dun remember the reference section being so cold.
Spasmodic contraction of muscle.
Clifford seems veri regretted not spending his June holidays wisely.
Not too bad, all is not lost yet.

Night Study Program (NSP) will commence soon and I am glad to hear the rules.
Below is an extraction of the rule for night study program 2008:
- Students are NOT allowed to leave the library b4 9.
- Students must keep the library silent.
I dun know till wat extend will this rule be carried out by the the sch.
But these rules sure gave me a veri good impression of the NSP.

Heard that the camp phoenix got Friday booster program (FBP).
That sounds...... so nice.
In order not to lose out, we the Unicorns will have a special set of program.
It called: Operation MAXIMA.
So this is de plan:
We will stay back in school EVERYDAY in library till 5.
Have dinner and study till 9 at night.
This is an addition to our original weekend plan.
Operation MAXIMA is a voluntary action while FBP is an involuntary action.
Each unicorn decide whether a not this is worth the hardwork and act accordingly.
We are so game for this.

Took my WS and jus hand up.
Now I have to find Mrs Teh to find my nameless WS.
So feel like wacking him.

And I still thinking then abt buying that lego looking thing.

So I can't really go for the oil refinery trip.

The following is a reality of global warming:
Today, we had PE lesson.
We did not had much sweat as we did onli broad jump and sit up.
But still a little hot.
Back to the classroom.
Jus to our shocking horror the air con is off.
Either it is spoilt or Mr Ong play a prank on us.
So I thought at least the fans were working, not too bad.
But I will say I take back my words at the end of the day.
The whole classroom is like a giant microwave (except that it onli emit infrared)
All the saturated water vapour and carbon dioxide trap hell lots of heat in the classroom.
The fans were as good as off.
And there were we, siting for 1.5h doing our EL paper 2.
For me I can't concentrate at all.
And upon leaving the classroom, I can feel that I am all sticky and sweaty.
Ironically, 4R2 classroom's air con was in full blast.
The irritating feeling of uncomfort force me to cancel my plan of studying today.
I won't do anything good if I were to go study.
Worst school day ever.
A sad but true fact, that is global warming.

It was long since I last update.

Jus receive the news that night study will commence on 7th July.
That is 7 more days away, reducing the holiday on mons and weekends.
Waaa Adrian Lim sux.
He wan all of us to lose momentum and do badly for O lvl.
Then he will reprimand us in front of the sec 3 and wanted them to do well.
Wat did I do to deserve such a principal in my graduating year?

I finally bought my new calculator that can 'cheat'
It is black, look much cooler than the white version many others are carrying =D
And I can finally do my quadratic and cubic eqns by a touch of the button ^^

The most interesting (and most difficult) chapter of the physic textbook is finally here!

My hunt for physic reference book is still on.
Most reference book I saw does not have the chapter on General and Special relativity.

Yes, after many days of endurance and anger, I am finally back to where I am suppose to be.
The peace. The quietness. The atmosphere.
And I am pretty happy today that I can do something productive.
My stamina today is the best I ever had so far. Prehaps due to de coffee.
Achievements? Completed notes for unit 2 and 3 of Elect. History, two-third of syllable.
I can acheive more, prehaps the whole of syllable.
But thx to certain issue which I shall elaborate.

When we went in to the library, I am positive that we are in the right place.
But when we left the library, I am not quite sure abt where I had stayed for the past day
Am I in the wrong place? Why did I ended up in a market? A wet market?
Well this is certainly no magic.
It all started when 2 girls sat on the floor using their laptop.
And followed by 2 girls sat beside me.
And finally, a group of ppl siting at the extreme end of the entire row.
So the major transformation had begin, that seemed almost like magic.
I heard the 2 beside me talking abt why a current is different in a parallel circuit.
I heard abt how one of the 2 siting on the floor had a sister that is hospitalise.
And I heard something else which I had forgotten from the group at the far end.

It jus lack......
A wet floor, meat, fishes and vegetables.
Then we will have a wet market.
An air-condition wet market.

Look on the brighter side shall we?
Maybe they are training us for the final stage: to be able to study in a coffee shop.
So they provide us wif a similar condition, to train us.

So I guess we will be back into the reference section by tmr.

I seriously hate camp phoenix.
Today we went to the library.
Without even writing a single word on my foolscap, the camp phoenix ppl came.
And u can guess wat happen next.
We left the library, not letting teachers a chance to chase us out of the library.
So we are 'homeless'
And this is all the VP fault.
'We will provide u wif the best facility available to study and support u till O'
Sounds familiar but the truth does not seems to be the case.
It reminds me of the Gorbachev's perestroika policy.
Russian ppl grew increasing angry not getting wat they expected from the policy.
Gorbachev promise the sky, but the ppl get onli wat is on land.
I am seriously pissed off wif everything.
Should get a complain letter to the school.

Much time wasted on venting my anger on this, lets move on.
It left wif onli 1 more day of EAP b4 it all ends.
Meantime, try to put up wif the nonsense of camp phoenix.
Having the whole day doing nothing constructive yesterday, I felt ashame of myself.

Back to school.
It is much of a waste of time.

Camp unicorn continues today in school library.
Jus when everything went fine, all ALTC ppl are out of the library.
Jus when there are no other ppl except for the librarian and us.

The opposition rival arrive.

Camp phoenix originated from the myth that phoenix is born out of ashes.
The school somehow hope that miracles will happen.
But miracles does not happen.

So as the opposition arrive, we left the library.
We actually got chased out of the library when we are really studying.
Any logic behind this?

Soon EAP will resume.
And it is back to school again.

I seriously hate school more and more.
I can accomplish much more if there is no school.
Everyone will be in holiday mode like week 1 EAP and we will end up learning nothing much.
But the good news is that school will be open up to 9 pm at night (camp phoenix)
We will be quick to seize this opportunity to continue wif camp unicorn!

I heard that Camp Phoenix is abt watching educational movie.
It is like totally wasting the $30
I thought it will be some kind of concentration camp or something.
Nothing beats camp unicorn.

It never feels so good to be able to get back to the library again.

For the past 3 days I am away at Pulau Tioman.
One termite attack and the whole resort can be gone.
Snorkeling is fun, especially when the water is so clear.
I could see Corals of different colour - Red, brown and green
The nature of the colour is due to the presence of cations Fe(II) and Fe(III)
Not to forget the different species of fishes swimming around me.

The plane has no engine, onli 4 propellers by the sides.
1st time in my life riding on a propeller plane.
Vapour coming out in the cabin.
Sure it was an experience for me.

As planned, I did my E math practice paper, 3 of them today.
And to realise that there are 2 more A math practice paper and A math online quiz.
But it is a relieve to complete all Mis Ex of A math tb and certainly a sense of achievement.
Need to finish all my homework.

This is wat I learn yesterday:
Nuclear fission - U235 fissure into Kr and Ba.
As U235 is less stable (less strong force and hence less binding energy),
Its product will be less massive than U235 (more mass converted into strong force to hold atom)
'Leftover' binding energy will be release to heat 'heavy water'
And the 'heavy water' will be heat normal water which turn turbine and generate electricity.

Nuclear fusion - Hydrogen atom (and its isotopes) will be fused to become helium.
As the proton is converted into neutron, Beta and gamma ray is release.
Gamma rays are electromagnetic ray that carries high amount of energy.
Also some 'leftover' binding energy will be release as thermal energy.
And it will heat water... turn turbine yadayada.

Guitar lesson + Library session today.

One thing I learn today: Impulse and Momentum.
Impulse is define as the integral of a force wif respect to time.
Momentum is define as the Force x Velocity of a moving object.
Relating this 2 together we will have impulse is the change in momentum when force is applied.
And there is a law of linear momentum conservation:
In a close system, the momentum gain by a body is the momentum lost by another.
U must be thinking that they all sound Greek to u.
Welcome to the world of science.

Following up this week is a week filled wif mathematica.
Calculus, Trigonometry, Equations, Functions and Geometry.
If I am lucky and I complete my work b4 schedule I shall start on CH mind maps.
It will be a fun week, I know.

L-I-B-R-A-R-Y.
Can't believe that dam 1 mark question actually took me 1.5h to do.
And there goes all my time and brain power.
I am not meant to do math.
Can't really think out of da box.
I believe that is something to do wif individuals.
A veri logical person (like me) cannot think out of the box.
A creative person (like Ryan) is able to do so.
No. Maybe it is due to practice.
The more expose u are to many different question, the faster u mind turns.
So which is right?

I dunno y but after solving that question I feel so tired that my thinking speed decreases.
A simple question took me forever to solve.
And I decided to come home early to rest and hopefully I can continue doing at night.
All thanks to that dam question Kent ask me to solve.

At least I learn something today.
It is called the laws of thermodynamics.
Zeroth law: Thermal equilibrium (G = H - TS)
First law: Thermal energy gain by a system = heat applied to system + work done to system
Second law: Entropy of a system will always increase till equilibrium
Third law: Approaching absolute zero, all processes cease and entropy will be at minimum

My grandma fell and broke her leg back in Malaysia. So Today's camp was cancelled. Sorry Jansen for your time.

As expected. When I am at home, no work is done. This had confirmed my hypothesis: In my house, no work is done, as object does not move in direction of force. Maybe u can cancel out the last sentence haha. How I wish we can permanently set up a camp in the library. Really hate myself when I am at home. It always turn out to be me wasting my time.

Got the form for Physic Olympia today. Looks like I understand at least the fundamental of almost everything. At least they dun sound Greek to me. Next time I am gonna do is to get myself a reference book on physic and do detail learning on those given on that paper. I think this is like onli half the syllable of A lvl. So I am going to take lesser time the chem book. At least get a Merit for it? I so love physic =D

Lucky I am able to go library tmr. So it will A math, A math and more A math. I swear that I will finish doing all Mis Ex in the book. Soon I can move on to CH wif doing my mind maps suggested by Mr Lim. At least I dun get a chance to rot at home. Staring at the 2 boxes at home make me feel that life is meaningless.

Jus got a bad news. The 'cheating calculator' cannot be bought at popular outside sch. It means that I will stick to my calculator wif lots and lots of cute stickers at least till sch reopen. maybe I shall check popular Tampines tmr. Anyway, I shall thx my sis for helping me to check it out ^^

This week is coming to an end.
Time flies so fast in the holiday and I feel that my time is getting lesser and lesser.
'O' level is drawing near.
So everyone work hard now if u dun wan to regret!
Sort of regreted not started studying since this year started.
Yea regrets. The worst thing one will have.

Went Athena HQ today without Jansen this time.
Today I start to feel something different about u.
I start to feel something for u.....
WHAT AM I THINKING? I CANNOT FALL IN LOVE WIF MATH!
IT IS JUS A TOOL! HEAR THAT? IT IS JUS A TOOL!
Maybe this is wat Ryan feel also.
But of course his case is a more serious 1.

So I guess I will stay at home and do unconstructive things.
It has been long since I last touch and practise my dear.

First day of EAP =D
And teachers bombard us wif homework.
Actually teachers also veri poor things.
They have no leave and spent their onli holidays wif us.
We sacrifice alot coming to EAP?
I dun feel that way.
It is more like they are the one sacrificing.
They can jolly well jus go for holiday and leave us to rot.
And this is how we treat them? By toking in class?

Electrolysis finally!
The hardest chapter in our entire chem textbook!
Work hard on it it will be manageable.
I jus love science lessons more and more.

Tmr shall be a math day.
Wif 3h math lessons + 2 h of chem.
At least there is chem.

As planned, we went to Athena HQ once again, this time wif Kent.
All I can say is that if Kent is around, make that sure the location is a library.
And it is onli Kent who really make this learning experience fun.
There is always laughter wif him around.

It is much like the Haber process, amount of temperature must balance off wif production rate.
In this case, the amount of work done must balance off wif enjoyment.

Hw + practice + school.
I feel that I am deprive of something....
Something... but I can't name it.
Maybe it is fun.
Looking back at term 2, I had achieved success in reducing my play time.
Now I barely play 30min a day.
Every game doesn't look interesting anymore.
So I made a decision.
To take charge of my life. I am going college.
And I am going to prepare for it 2 years before going in.

I feel much fortunate to be in Ngee Ann than other top school like Victoria or Duman High.
Their dam papers are so ******* hard that the top pupil onli got 20+ for L1R5
Wat is the point of doing so?
Make them scare so that they will study?
If I am in VS or DHS, I will probably feel so depress and forsake studying.
All the hardwork u have put in are not worth.
So why am I trying so hard if my hardwork does not pay off?
Might as well give up.
That makes no difference.
Perhaps that is my character.
Either I dun do it, or I give it my best shot.
And that is y I dun want to go to MJC.
In nicer term they call it 'stretching your potential', 'pushing your limit'
But they jus wan more from u.
And this defeat the whole purpose of education.
Wat I have wrote above is soley base on my personally opinion.
U do not need to agree wif me.
I am not trying to descriminant against other schools.

Went my dad's office to study today early in de morning.
Here are some comparison wif the national library.

Advantages:
-Almost as quiet as the national library.
-U and onli u can tok as compared to library where everyone have to shut up or whisper.
-Study area is bigger than library; table is bigger.
-There is a small white board that can be fully utilise.

Disadvantage:
-It is veri inaccessible; >30min walk to the nearest public transport - Expo MRT station.
-Lunch become a problem when the canteen is also veri far away.

From my point-of-view, I feel that it is ranked better than library.
Of course if u have a car, which my dad does, it will be perfect =D
Anyway, no more vacancy ^^

Heard that this year O lvl is harder than the paper which i took.
Dun worry, there is always something call the moderation.

So we were playing Hangman Pokemon wif our newly found whiteboard.
Yea, it is childish, I noe.
And I got owned like 4x in a row.
The question I set was guessed correctly even b4 a single letter is suggested.
And U can imagine the humiliation I face when this occurs 4x in a row.
I am a noob ^^

At least I completed everything in Mis Ex 3 which is quite an acheivement.
Soon after a few more days I will finish revision on a math and can start on CH =D
And b4 June holidays I will be done wif my revision for 'O'!
Maybe that is jus far fetch.

Did not get much sleep yesterday night.
Guess it is more like cannot get into sleep.
It all started when I review an old question that has been bugging me for as long as I noe.
Yea, the elliptic orbit (Most moon orbit in oval shape instead of round) by expansion theory.
I managed to come up wif a solution yesterday night, which the book did not explain properly.
So I am sharing wif those who are interested.

Currently I am making a ppt slide trying to explain my new finding.
So I will update u guys upon completion.
I will try to host the ppt slide.
If not u ppl have to get it from me through msn.

Heard Kent and Godwin got rejected by Camp Phoenix.
Guess I will most probably get rejected too if I wan to join.
So we set up our own camp!

Camp Unicorn! Specially designed for Camp Phoenix rejects!
It will be more intense than Camp Phoenix, wk 1 - wk 4 June holiday.
Wk 1 and 4 will be from 12+ till 5 in the weekday afternoon except for EPP days.
Wk 2 and 3 will be everyday from 10am till 7.59pm in the library.
Unfortunately, registration onli available for wk 2 and 3 as there are no much vacancy.

Sch ended like 12.30 today but our lesson ended at 9 in the morning. Finally I had finished my 读书报告 which took me like more than 1 wk to do. Movie screening at AVA room was nice, because the show is veri funny.

I must take this opportunity to badmouth Mr Lim, our vice principal. Jus yesterday he told us that the sch will be ever supporting us in our studies and provide us wif the most conducive environment to study in and today we found ourselves locked out of school library. Wat is the meaning of this? He added that studying outside is not conducive enough and wish all students to stay in school to study. So I guess wat he meant by conducive is studying outside the staff room where you can breath in the exhaust gas given out by the construction work. WE DEMAND THE LIBRARY TO BE OPEN!

Perhaps one of these days we will go scouting for new studying places. Why? because of the CONDUCIVE environment provided by our school. Somethings we jus can't count on the school. Actually the place onli need to satisfied 4 main factors:
1) Chairs available
2) Tables available
3) Quietness
4) Air conditional

Is it that hard to fulfil that?

I swear that Pasir Ris library is the worst place ever. Maybe it is not but it is bad enough. I sat at the chair for like 2h and my backache like I have been in Tampines library for a whole day. The best part is no table. And we need to buy coffee from the cafe in order to get 1. So it is $4 for 1 table ^^ I will nv go back there again!

After I finish the chapter on inorganic chem (hopefully by today), I will stop working on the book and focus on my O lvl topic instead. 'Holidays' are coming and I need to train 24/7 (Maybe I am exaggerating) in order to win hackers. I dunno how these hackers in my class did it but I am going to overtake them all and become Athena!

Jolly! Saturday tmr! That means usually PQ in the ideally best slot. This has turn into a habit. Until we found a better slot to train in, we are staying there.

Got back my result slip today....
It seems like my marks were screwed by CH and bio as expected.
Need to work harder on it, especially my CH.

Lesson as usual.
Teacher go through a boring discription essay wif us today.
It seems like she was the one 1 who can imagine and realise the beauty of that passage.
The rest of us were jus.........nvm.
And I still own her 6 reading log ws =(
I need to complete it by friday.
It is comfirmed: As long as we pass HCL, we can minus 2 no matter we use it or not.

Maybe I should stay back in the library after lesson everyday starting from tmr.
School library may not be the best place on Earth but it sure have air con and lesser distraction.
Tampines library = Best!

Chinese week starts today!

Day 1:
So we were doing paper 1 b4 recess.
After recess teacher started to go through textbook, which bored a hell out of everyone.
Clifford went KO soon after teacher started teaching and slept throughout the whole lesson.
Jerome, Yan Dong and Eric were behind me, talking as if the teacher was invisible.
As for me? I nearly fall asleep, NEARLY!
I bet no one was actually listening to her lesson.
So wat I am going to do is to bring Feng You tmr and apply it near to my eyes =P
I will be wide awake wif my eyes as big as goldfish, or even bigger.

I scored B4 for bio...
Sort of depressing but not tat much as my L1R5 will not be affected by how much my bio scored.
This shows that I really have to buck up and do constant revision.
Maybe prelim I will score a little bit higher.... Jus maybe.

Wanted to do my A math but turn out otherwise.
That is the whole dam problem of studying at home.
Distractions seems to be everywhere.
But the library seat make my back hurts....
NO MORE GAMES TILL THE END OF THE DAY!

So dam hot these few days.
It feels staying in an oven in my room.
Wat have I told u?
GLOBAL WARMING IS REALLY!
If we dun do something abt it now, this hotness can kill us.
I really dun see the point why government do not use solar panels.
It is so dam hot and quite a lot of energy can be harvested from this heat of the sun,
Instead of constantly buying natural gas from our good friend Indonesia.

I am back from Malaysia!
Quite bored there... Not much things to buy.
Everything there seems to be pirated, even those which might be original.
That is wat happen when u are in a small town......

Diesel engine lorry along roadside gives off tons of soot.
Forest burning gives off tons of soot + CO2 + poisonous gas.
Factories producing smoke every sec.
If nothing is to be done, doomsday will arrive earlier than expected.
Next generation will not survive.

I sort of thought abt a future plan for a environmental friendly Singapore.
All cars will run on electricity, not petrol.
All electricity shall be produced by solar power, at least minimise usetage of natural resources.
All HDB flats roof will be filled wif solar panels that are highly efficent.
Singapore is a tropical island wif maximum sunlight and temperature condition.
So solar is definately the the best solution.
Wind turbine on sea near to coast? Maybe?
Also more trees to purify air.
Along wif much more newer and innovative way to produce electricity.
This is wat will happen to u if are in Malaysia and u have got nothing to do.

Read abt 4 chapters of my reference book.
Now I am halfway through the book.
I am thinking abt making ppt slides to simplify it =P
Maybe during next week, when everyone is chionging for O lvl chinese.

Mdm Ashikin is not here again. This means 1.5h of free period!

I spent most of the time 'revising' my reference book to have a clearer picture and hopefully manage to understand wat I did not b4 things get ugly wif calculation further in the book. The reason behind this is that I want to learn more and DEFINITELY NOT SHOWING OFF. This part of my life is something called planning for my future. At least I noe wat I wan to be in future and be well prepared for it. I do not wan to burn midnight oil throughout my 2 years in college and by the end of it become so pissed off wif studying. Life will be meaningless and miserable in JC. I will not at all enjoy it at all. Wat I am doing now is to get familiar wif the A lvl syllable and get 2 subjects off my mind so that I can concentrate and better focus on others subjects. I shall prove to all of u that I can sleep at 10 every night during my life in JC!

Found a reference book veri much similar to mine in the school library and guess wat? The explanations in the book is so much clearer and straightforward that I can understand! That book seems old and maybe it is not up to date. But I can understand exactly the order of the rate of reaction part in quantitative kinetic and the rate equation that I failed miserably to despite spending the whole day in Tampines library last Saturday. I jus feel like I have wasted at least half a day in the library last weekend.

I had entered the Physic Olympia! I hope I can do well......

Studying has become a hobby of mine. I dunno since when and how but It had been implanted in me for as long as I noe like blood flowing in my veins. Habits die hard.... haha.

I had come up wif a conclusion of 'why Ryan is able to do so well in math exam'
I must admit that he did work dam hard for it. He practise it veri frequently like almost everyday while me is pretty much of an different case. Once I noe how to do it, practise it a bit and I will call it a day. I simply feel that math manipulation will not get me anywhere and will not be of any use except, honourable science. I really admire Ryan's ability to work so hard and I could say his mark is well deserved. Perhaps that also explains why he is never good in bio. His mind is filled wif numbers and onli numbers. As in bio, calculation is nv (or of little use) in exam paper. He jus lack the ability to analysis the way a scientific mind does. Perhaps there is a difference in math and science despite the fact that they are usually closely associated in school stream.

How a solar panel works?
2 layers of semiconducting material is joined together and when heat energy is available, electrons become 'excited' and vibrate vigorously that it is delocalised from atom and attracted to atoms of the other semiconductor material. Both semiconducting material has veri large difference in *electronegativity of the 2 different semiconducting materials and hence electrons transferred cannot return to its original atom due to insufficient kinetic energy to break free of attraction force of 2nd semiconducting material. A potential difference will build up between both layers (more and more electrons in 1 layer than another) and if wire is attracted to the 2 layer separately, electrons will travel through the wire from the 2nd layer to the 1st layer, and hence a current will flow through the wire.

*Electronegativity - measurement of the ability of a nucleus to attract an electron.

As we can see, both atoms must be of veri large mass difference in terms of nucleus mass to have high enough electronegativity to prevent electrons from returning to its 'rightful atom owner'.

As technology improves, we are trying to find better semiconductors for the 2 layer to generate a larger current and/or potential difference (Remember we can always use transformers. So we can always alter to 240V in SG or 110V in US to suit the needs of all electrical appliances and the rest to current.)

1st layer
- Minimum amount of ionisation energy is needed to delocalise electrons
- Smallest mass of nucleus to increase electronegativity difference wif 2nd layer

2nd layer
- Largest mass of nucleus as possible to increase electronegativity difference wif 1st layer

For the 1st layer is sort of much contradiction as ionisation energy is directly proportioned to mass of nucleus. But scientist are working veri hard to find more semiconductor to improve efficiency of solar panel.

So this is wat happen today......

It seems like a normal school day with nothing much happening around. It was PE lesson and we were playing soccer. Then the incident started. Yong Yuan's front tooth got chipped off after falling colliding with Clifford. 1/3 of the tooth came off and everyone was in a panicked mood. Lucky I remembered that my sis once told me that soaking the broken piece in milk and holding it in position will increase the chance of fixing it back into place. Hence that is wat I did: ask Clifford to get him milk. Yong Yuan told me that he still wan to get married and I reassure him that the dentist will be able to fix it. We approached the General Office and demanded immediate dental treatment, or at least permission to leave the school for dental clinic. We were trying to get a teacher to accompany him to the nearest dental clinic but the clerk in the office seems to take forever to settle the situation. Guess this is government sector, to have everything law by law. Clifford was feeling dam guilty over wat had happened and feel that he was to blame. Finally the AM (I dunno who he is) came with his car and Yong Yuan was off.

Throughout A math lesson I can tell that Clifford was not feeling any better, despite the conversation wif Mdm Ashikin that took like 30min. Yong Yuan came back after A math lesson wif his tooth fixed, with cement. Too much of the tooth were scrapped into powder upon impact and doesn't really fit in anymore. But the cement look flawless. Too bad Yong Yuan cannot eat hard food anymore for 1 wk =(

MT week is coming =D

Ok my mind is set on Chemical Engineering! Finally I have an ambition! It seems like the onli way to make the world a cleaner and greener place to live in is to come up wif new alternative fuel. And the onli way to make it is to study chemical engineering. I wan to do my part to stop global warming before the next ice age. Need to fall in love wif chemistry =D

My combine humanites..... NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Guess I put too much attention on my sciences and maths that I had neglected on humanities. It has been quite sometime since I ever get a C5 for combine humanities, since MYE last year I guess, b4 Gloria take over our class for SS. Let me analysis my poor result of combine humanities.

History:
SBQ - Did fairly well for SBQ except the useful qn, jus need to be more careful
SEQ - Kind of screw up for content + SEQ was meant to be tricky
Partially due to the fact that it is the 2nd last paper and the fact that it is an afternoon paper.
So I dun really know wat is going through my mind then.

SS:
SBQ - Booby traps everywhere. No one actually score veri much in SBQ
SEQ - 1 qn did not explain properly the GF

Both combine humanities are suppose to be a killer but I shall not take this as an excuse for doing badly. Instead, I shall be more focus on my humanities instead of maths or sciences during the June holidays.

Guess there is this saying: The higher your expectation, the more painful is your fall.
There goes my mood the entire day.

Although plan A (TJC) failed, plan B (MJC) can be carried out if this is my O lvl result. But I thnk that O lvl result will be much better than this as there are something I can do now. That is to treat this as a learning experience, not to feel discourage (despite the fact that I really feel this way now) and continue to work on it!

I am feeling veri happy today =D
Got back several papers today. E math and A math gotten A1 together wif my Chem and Physic! The last deciding factor is my humanities which is SS + History. Languages are as following: HCL - B4, EL - 27/50 + paper 1. I passed EL paper (which Ms Yanti said there are several failures) with the highest at 33/50 for paper 2. So I guess I am somewhere average. Hopefully my humanities can at least get me a A1 or A2 and my marks will be within the limit of <10, which secure a position in TJC.

The most happy part is my A math! I finally got an A1 for it in major examination. This inspire me to work harder for my A math during the June holidays. Also I need to practise more for my E math to perfect my marks in case of any mishaps during 'O' lvl, eg. moderation.

Athena really aids me in my studies and everyone should play it! If your studies do not improve after long hours of playing the game, I shall chop off my head =X I guess Yan dong is registering for the game after seeing his results today =D

I could not forgive myself for that 2 dam careless marks in physic paper. 1 qn I did not write the axis for graph. Another I have adjusted the axis but not the graph drawn out b4 adjustment. This result in losing of 2 careless marks that is making me so depress =(

After 3 days of relaxing myself, (actually not really...) tmr shall be a new start! Lessons, homework, EPP and more! Syllabus is coming to an end and revision is abt to begin. Most importantly exam papers are marked and coming back to us! It is time to see and decide which subjects I will be focusing more during June holidays. Not to forget the plan of going library everyday during the 2 weeks without EAP.

Grooming check on Mon and I haven cut my hair for like.... 5 weeks =D
It feels good not to be a SC! No longer need to put up wif the grooming check every morning. I guess Mr Tan had stopped that nonsense. I am sure he find it useless. It did not help to boost SC image but rather making our image look worst. Peers were laughing at us everyday. In wat way is this motivating our student leaders? Returned my book of the expansion theory as the date due is next saturday and partly also due to the explaination failed to enlighten me on how orbits works. I have been thinking for days that wat causes the speed increase in the moon orbiting Earth.

If Earth is constantly expanding, moon speed must constantly increase to travel a futher distance so that time taken for it to travel in 1 orbit will remain consistant. I agree that this increase of speed is due to the acceleration of atomic expansion in moon. But the question is, since most moon orbit not in circular but in oval orbitual, wat cause the increase in speed as it passes nearer to the Earth and it appears to slow down when it is further away? The book also starts to explain the unexplainable but suggesting something else or should I say sweep all the unexplain under the carpet, the same as Newtonian explaination.

I believe that the truth of gravity lies in the curvation of spacetime and this force of the curved spacetime is caused by dimension higher than us, perhaps the time dimension. Maybe I am also trying to sweep the unexplainable force of gravity under the carpet.......

If we apply basic principle of physic, every raindrops (Yea there are still droplets after a rain) acts as a tiny prism which refract light from the light source. Rainbow can onli be form if there is a light source of 7 different wavelengths and frequency that is visible to our eye's cones coming from your frame of reference that is refracted behind that layer of water droplets. It is not whether a not rainbow will appears but rather the perspective of where you are standing and your angle of perception from the virtual image. Of course, if there is no light source, there is no rainbow.

I had completed 10/30 chapters in the whole entire Chem book!
This is the part where everything gets messy.
This is usually where u will say :' I dun understand a single dam thing of this chapter!'
The maths + lack of mentor + poor explanation of the book contribute to the I dunno factor.
I am going to search online for a better explanation and hopefully manage to understand.
Maybe I have jus seen the ugly side of chemistry.
Or maybe this is true of chemistry all along.

Dun get me started on my experience in library today. The perfume of that women and the MAN giving me headaches, making me lose concentration. Three gigantic light bulb that shone so brightly....

I have completed 1/6 of the entire chem reference book XD Perhaps it won't take me long to get my physic reference book and complete it b4 going college.

Gonna take NE quiz in sch later on. My sis told me that it will be something like the one we did in P6 jus that the questions are harder. Need to do some last minute revision on SS textbook =P Nah I am jus joking.

Yea! Tmr is Saturday! That means Kent, Jan, Godwin and me will be pqing in our usual spot for the whole day! I guess I will relax myself a while and sidetrack in doing quest that will be useful onli in the expansion pack that is coming out. I still haven got over wif the last boss......

Meanwhile science centre trip is still on today! I nv knew science centre is in Jurong O.o I onli hope for 2 thing:
1) There will be dam little ppl going to the observatory tonight.
2) The sky will have minimum yield of water droplets in the sky.

MYE are over =D
It have been quite an enjoyable period for me.
Leaves appears green because they reflect green light. I will remember this forever.

Screw de dam last boss which causes so much misery to me. Acheivement section of my manual will be badly reflected on this boss. I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE! U WILL FEAR ME SOMEDAY!

Clifford asked me go play soccer. Cherng Jye ask me to go bowling. I jus feel like staying at home and read my chem tb =D It is like this sudden urge to finish A lvl syllabels b4 I even take O. At least I read through it and try to understand so that when I go junior college I will not struggle. Not onli chem but physic also!

Come to think of it I dun even feel like playing the computer now. Wasted like much of my time siting down on this chair and staring into the box like wat I am doing right now typing this post. So I had decided to kik this bad habit of being addicted to computer games. Donating all my game cd away? NO WAY!

Last paper of MYE left. I nv knew this will end so fast. It seems like it had onli started yesterday. But I am not gonna stop here. The race has jus begin, and I won't stop till the end. ^^
Tmr shall be the end, but I dun feel like reading through it anymore. Everytime I open up my notes I will feel as if I have noe everything. I feel more like reading my books abt theory of everything. Prehaps watching tv =D

Science centre trip on friday sounds promising. We will all be astronomers =D Hopefully I can have a glimpse of mars or venus. This feeling seems like the first time Galileo point his telescope into the skies. How I noe wat Galileo feels? I dunno =X

Galileo came before Newton. It seems like Newton is the oldest great scientist and no one so great is before him. Galileo died on the same year Newton was borned. Also, great physicist do not need to have good math ^^ All the equations of physic are handled by mathematician. But basic knowledge of mathematics must be known to form the equation itself.

Netwon famous equation Force (resultant) = Mass x Acceleration is actually derived by the rate of change of momentum. It is stated that d/dt of (momentum, mass x velocity) is the resultant force. d/dt of (mv) is actually v(dm/dt) + m(dv/dt). Given that the rate of change of mass is 0 and that rate of change of velocity is acceleration, then F=MA. Chain rule rocks =D

Half of me wish to accept expansion theory while the other half feels that General relativity is the key to gravity. Fuse both of them? One thing is for sure: NEWTON IS WRONG ABOUT GRAVITY!

Today's boss is crap.
The onli difficult part abt defeating it is the time limit I have.
Actually spent lots of time thinking abt how to kill this boss b4 I use my skill.
It seems almost like an insult to my intelligence, seriously.
In the end I did manage to kill de boss =D

Good thing that Jan actually reserved slot for me.
Kent took so long to reach the slot.
It seems like kent cannot be the one that reserve slot.
When online on 10.05am (It seems as if I have flew to the slot)

It is a veri good explanation of expansion theory, hope u ppl will understand more =D

Mass is actually 'attacted' to spacetime.
The presence of mass attracted spacetime to 'stick' onto it.
When I say spacetime, imagine that it is a region of space filled wif millions of cubes.
And particle (eg. atom) attached iteself to one of the line of the cube, causing it to curve.
At a large scale - Earth cause this curvation to be significant.
Force by the 'tension of the fabric' is applied on Earth, which is gravity.

An analogy will be a pulled rubber sheet (spacetime fabric) wif a heavy bowling ball (sun).
The bowling ball will cause a curvation on the rubber sheet which will 'attract' some smaller ball, example pool ball.

Read something abt time travelling today.
It is wat we call 'wormhole'
I gonna show u ppl a picture of wat it looks like.

The wormhole is actually wat is seems to be the arrow pointing at.
The diagram above show a piece of spacetime being curved: like the way it curve due to gravity.
Wormhole acts as a shortcut which make us possible to travel faster than speed of light.
So we can effectively travel through time.

In reality, this can be created.
But it onli exist for so little time that we can do nothing abt it.
It disappear faster than the speed of light.
Physicist hope to prevent the collapse of the wormhole onto itself by using exotic matter,
Matter wif negative energy.

Another type of hole: black holes.
When a huge star is unable to burn enough energy to sustain the force of gravity on it, it will eventually be compressed by the fabric of spacetime and reduces its volume. This cause an increase in the star's density and it will sink deeper and deeper into the fabric of spacetime below it. This process continue till the fabric of spacetime is too curved and distorted.
Force of gravity is then too huge that even light cannot escape from the singularity of the blackhole. Everything will be 'swallowed' and time in the blackhole will stop completely.

General relativity seems to be making a lot of sense to me now.

Athena is so dam cool!
The boss today is dam dam noob.
It is like no kick.
So hopefully I can thrash it and have good achievement record in my manual.

So today it is the same 3 person partying at our usual slot.
Kent killed hell lots of monsters today and lvl up quite significant.
While Godwin and me are like waiting for him to catch up.

I guess I am working on my character in the expansion pack.
Yea, I will be ahead of everyone!

Ok back to science:
After much discussions and argument wif Teck Li,
I had come to a conclusion that our body is in the 3rd dimension,
While our soul/will/watever u call it, is in the 4th.
Our mind can interpret time.
U noe wat u ate yesterday, u have a rough imagine of wat u wan to be in future.
There are also ppl that have intensive mind power that can levitate objects/tell the future.
Psychics I mean.
These are individuals that can fully utilise their brain to manupulate 3D things in their 4D world.
It is true that we onli uses abt 10% of the mind throughout our entire live.
The power of our brain is incredible.
Time travel is truely possible but we cannot bring our body to a different dimension.
So time travelling onli limit ourselves to knowing the future and past,
But we can do nothing to change it.

The wave function:
A function that relate the amount of energy to the wavelength of any particle.
The equation state that the wavelength of any particle is inversely proportional to its energy.
And if u noe math, wavelength = k, constant / energy
And the K constant is wat we known as the Planck's constant.
Everything make sense to me now.

I also learnt more abt the special relativity.
It turn out to be that matter is consist of energy, mass or both!

Pure energy is matter that consist of 0 rest mass and definate amount of energy.
And example will be photon, carrier of light energy.
This is actually, in layman term, wave.

Pure particle is matter that consist of definate rest mass and 0 energy.
It is the same the nuclear in an atom.

A moving object is an example of a hybrid, which most things are.
They consist of both energy (kinetic, heat or watever) and mass.

So it is like everything is a particle.
A wave is a particle that have no rest mass as its mass lies in the amount of energy it carries.
A particle is no doubtly a particle (common sense)
And a moving object is also a particle (common sense again)

And hence the equation E=MC²
I must really admit Albert Einstein is a GENIUS!

Somemore of special relativity says that explain the speed limit: speed of light.
If we accelerate a particle to near speed light, its energy will become mass to add to the inertia of the particle.
This will in term slow the particle down.
Hence it will require more energy to increase his speed.
This whole process will repeat itself and hence de speed-of-light limit.

The reading of more such stuff actually manage to make me understand wat it means.

And guess wat we discover?
We found this new game!

Athena - The frozen manual of wisdom.
In this game u play as an individual that was given a blank manual by ur died father.
The onli way to bring ur father back - Time travel.
While crossing the 4th dimension of time, different monsters attempt to stop you.
Your job is to kill those monsters and gain exp from them.
Not to forget skills that are to be written in your empty manual along the way.
Enquire skills, defeat your opponent, save your father!

There is no disc and cost to play is $0
It is RPG and u are to team up wif other players to defeat boss monster to gain even more exp!
The best part of this game is that there is no maintainance and no hacks.
It is purely base on your skill and wits to defeat your opponents.

This whole blog seems like a science forum now O.o

Ok, I am pretty convinced that we are living in the 4th dimension.
Teck Li is right, if we are in the 3rd we cannot see things that are moving.
And time dilation of the theory of special relativity prove that time can be slow.
It seems to convince me that we possess the ability to manipulate time.
It is that we can, but due to current technology we cannot possess the ability to do so.
It is like there is no accelerator that can make us travel near to the speed of light.
But Einstein also says nothing can travel faster than speed of light.
Control time may not mean travel back or forward in time.
It can mean slow time or fast foward time.
Nobody knows wat we can do with time.
Maybe 1 day we will be able to time travel.
It seems like H.G Well's time machine is not a fiction afterall.

Many still insist that we are in de 3rd.
Such confusion....

Yea, God live in dimension above us.
I believe that live after death will be in another dimension.
A dimension higher than wat we are living on now.
Yea, it is going to be interesting.

Black hole is the small breakage of Space-time.
This created a pressure inside and atoms will rush in.
Atom will travel through dimensions from 4D to 0D and become a point.

If time travel is possible, and we go back in time, we will be giants compared to the past.

As promised, this post is dedicated to TeckLi.

Firstly, the veri existence of graviton particle is not proven. There is simply NO evidence that this particle exist. Majority of the scientist does not believe in graviton as a particle. So it is only a hypothesis. It seems like another theory that tries to sweep everything that cannot be explained under the carpet. Unless u can tell me where is this 'power source' of gravity, there is no sufficient reason y I should believe Newton's perception on gravity, resulting in this veri existance of graviton. Although Einstein have come up wif a better theory of how gravity works, it is still flawed as badly as Newton's. For example, Einstein's theory can explain y the orbit in fabric of space-time does not result in our planet slowly but surely falling into the sun. If this theory of graviton traveling through dimensions is accepted, then the Expansion theory will definately be accepted as both are toking abt proving of another dimension which we cannot see. Expansion theory will be more widely accepted as Newtonian + Einstein law adding together still is flawed badly as compared to Einstein law.

Secondly, there is we living in the 4th dimension because we can hear and there is motion? In physic, the 4th dimension is onli time. So unless we are able to see time, we are in the 3th dimension. It is the same as de little circle in flatland. She can hear de 3D being voice. If onli can we see time and can control time, we are in de 3rd dimension. A 3D object has motion onli because of time. If there is no time, 3D object will onli exist as mass. Hence de 4th dimension is indeed time.

Does gravity force really exist?
Or is it a plain assumption made by Sir Issac Newton?
It is no doubt Newtonian gravity is indeed badly flawed.
It violate many other laws of physic
Let me show u a few example of violation:
-The 'power source' of gravity seems like a endless energy source that pull objects
-Force of gravity is faster than speed of light and act instantaneously

So wat is the solution?
It turn out to be something call 'Expansion Theory'
It is stated that there is another dimension inside atom, that cause it to expand uniformly.
Everything is growing bigger.

Y we are not realising the expansion?
The expansion is uniform, meaning every atom is expanding at the same rate any given time.
The object is expanding, and so is ur ruler that measure it.
This is because the universe is expanding.
The whole Space-time continum is expanding.
So the expansion is relative to us.

It is not u falling into Earth, but Earth expanding and hitting u instead.
It is jus our vision distortion that assume that we are falling.
So in this theory, there is not gravity as force.
And all the violation of laws disappear is u are to explain gravity as the expansion of matter.

This theory does not seems to be flawless either, but at least it contain lesser flaws than that of Newton's.
And y we are still accepting Newton's gravity this veri moment?
Because we can't actually prove the theory right.
The proving involve another dimension, which we find it hard to understand.

Imagine u being a 2D creature living on a plate.
U know nothing abt 3D and u can onli move up,down,front and back.
If a giant cone from another dimension (3D) 'poke' u from the side and it's surface area on the plate is getting bigger, U onli see that object moving towards u and finally touch you.
U will call that a mysterious attraction force that 'suck' u into it.
This appears to be gravity to u but the 3D, it is a cone.

Y am I always so not confident?
Although I finish my a math paper today (except last 2 parts of qn 13),
I still feel that wat I have done will result in careless marks deduction somehow, somewhere.
Is it the decimals? or is it the irrational answer I got?
How do I fix this?
I really dunno.

The next time u see me doing A math exam paper, I won't waste a second.
This whole June holiday is going to be math, math, math and more math.
I am going to make a difference in perlim.
And u can mark my words.

Today is going to be an off day for me.
I should jus camp infront of the box, and gain knowledge from it by staring into pixels.
Make it 2 boxes, including the one which I am staring into right now.
It has been 2 weeks without computer games =D
I jus knew I could do this.

4 days till next week.
It might seems long, but it will be gone b4 u know it.
So I plan to study 1 subject per day for the rest of the week.
Maybe 2 subjects per day for 2 days.
