I am back in singapore =D
Here are some of the posts I written during my trips:

3rd June 2006
Day 6: Day 1 in Korea

My flight today is at 10:30 pm...
Overnight flight is horrible...
My sis kept lying against me...
Making me unable to sleep...
Think onli manage to sleep 4h...Wth
Airplane food is disgusting...
This seems to be the longest night I ever had...haiz...

Day 7: Day 2 in Korea

Landed on Incheon International Airport at 6 in the morning ( GMT+8 5:00 am)
So tired...Not much sleep last night...thx to my sis
Had shrimp burger for breakfast...
The shrimp paste in it make the burger taste horrible...
No appetite after eating it...
You will be amaze by the no. of ppl wif single eyelid and ppl without specs...


We arrived at Yongin Everland soon after that...
Went for rides and Safari World there...
There is a Liger there ( fusion between Tiger and Lion)
Really cute...but fierce...
There are also bears...

My 1st time on Viking ship...
This ship is big and tall...
Took the center seat ( coward right? )
However, the ship can be still parallel to the ground...
Jelly legs after that...haha

Everytime we board bus...sleep...
Not enough energy...

After so...we left for a musical: 'Wedding'
Amusing and exciting...
After that we tried on some of the Korea costumes



How do I look =P

Trip for today is over, back to hotel for a good night sleep...

Day8: Day 3 in Korea

Much more awake today..
Off to Mt. Maisen...

At Mt. Maisen...
There are lots of weird statue formed by the staking layers of rocks...
It is said that if u put a bowl of clear water in front of you when praying there during winter...
Icicles will be formed...



Down the mountain for lunch...
Lunch is an almost vegetarian meal...( except ikan billis and overly salted boar meat)
Bland and tasteless...XP



Head for Daegu - Donghwa Temple

On the way...tour guide told us that Daegu is the hottest place in Korea...
He mention that it is famous for the apples and pretty ladies ^^
He also told us some history of korea...

In the temple...
There are 3 statues of buddha...
Representing - Past, Present, future
There are also a statue of buddha of health...
Pray and board the bus...

Jungang-ro Street
Did some shopping but due to communication, nothing is bought...zzz

At Spavalley
Ate something like claypot ( again...no meat at all)
Nice...and I am also sure it is healthier than claypot =D
Went for hot jacuzzi ( At least 50 degree )
Also...messaging gas pumps
Ahh...feel so relaxed after so...

Back to hotel...
My dad and I wore slippers and short pans went to minimart next to our hotel...lol
Room service to Ex...
Fried rice = $ 25 Pizza = $ 34
Daylight( Actually it is night time) robbery..
That hotel door man stood up apon our arrival...
Bet he think we are beggars...haha

Day 9: Day 4 in Korea

Left hotel at 7.40 am...
Went for sightseeing of a lake...
We took a boat out into the 78km long lake...
Nice scenery...beautiful ^^

Had lunch near the lake...
Ate a kind of cross-breeded fish lived in the lake..
Nice texture but taste raw..XD

After so, we went Dodamsanbong...
Took photo and stuff...



Tranferred to Yongpyung...
Thought there will be a Gondola ride...
But onli cable car =(
Went up to the 1450m mountain...
Brr...cold on top...but veri fresh air...



Tour guide tour us abt women in Korea...
There is a saying of having 3 daughters in Korea will led u to bankruptcy...haha
here are 'rules' that is unfair to women:

-->Men = Buy/rent house, women = buy all funitures in house
-->Bride side will have to give expensive gifts b4 and after marriage for a good life
-->Law is unable to protect women of abuse from their husband

Who's the man behind all this?
Confucius!! He and his teachings are results of these...

Next time marry a Korea women...lol...jus kidding...

Day 10: Day 5 in Korea

Brr...10.5 degree this morning...
Board bus at 7.40 am today...

Visited 大长今 film site...
So cool there =D
But the palace is so dam small...
Prehaps due to budget cost...
Not even have tiles on the king's palace...



Ate BBQ for lunch...
Haven't eaten such nice food for days =D

Went to Seoul (finally...) after lunch
Visited the actual palace...lol
1h 20 min in it
Changduk palace is big...



To the president's place.. (just a drivethrough)
Big green tiled mansion...wow
No photos could be taken...

Dongdaemun market is big...
Many teens...
All clothes, nothing else...
it is said that this is where the lastest trend is released...

Eat ginseng chicken for dinner...
Quite a tonic that I hardly eat...
It is good for the body ^^

Actually, Seoul is as big as Singapore...
In area...
Might get lost easily...

Day 11: Day 6 in Korea

Eat eastern asia breakfast set today...
Miss the taste of 油条...

Ginseng,Amethyst,Dongchonghacha and Kimchi making...
product selling...prehap product cons...

Kimchi making...
The kimchi I made was disgusting XP
Try on the korean costume here too...



(This should look better than the 1st =D)

Rice in bamboo shoot...
Ok...quite nice...
Kinda bitter...

Coex Mall next...
A big, underground mall...
There is a projetor shining on the floor...
it also sense your movement if you are over it...
Such advance technology...



To Lotte World...
The whole area around there is filled wif lotte buildings...
Lotte hotel, Lotte world, Lottle castle...
My sis and I took Viking ship again...hehe
We also went Paroah Fury ride...
It is a ride where we sat on a jeep and explore the Paroah tomb...
Nice effect of the jeep...and awsome tomb...cool
Had to take pony ride wif my sis...2x...haiz...
But have a fairy tale feeling on it.. =D
Nearly late for departure to hotel...
A fantastic theme park!

Back to singapore tomorrow...
Kinda miss this place ='(

Day 12: Day 7 in Korea

Had to leave Korea today...
Haiz...
Took Korea breakfast this morning...
Delicious ^^
Fried rice wif some sort of curry...

Went Mingdong and Dongdaemun...
Suppose to be a shopping area...
But things are too expensive to be bought...
Bought a Snoopy Sling bag though...
S$ 8.50...cool bag =D

After that, we went to the shop selling local stuffs...
So expensive...expected...

Finally: Departure
='( had to say goodbye to the tour guide and the shuai ge photographer...

Stupid but nice show...haha

Feel so good to be back in Singapore...
But just felling too hot...

Day 12

Woke up in the morning...
Had to go Malaysia...

Reached my grandma house at 2.30 pm
Went shopping ^^

Bought:
Wallet - RM 15.90
Sport Shoes - RM 39.90

Where had the FIFA fever gone?
Where is that excitement I had 4 years ago...
Haiz...

We are yet to grow up...

Day 13

Back in Singapore at around 5 in the everning...
Finally...rest...

Gonna start work tomorrow...
Haiz...
Leaflet or ppt 1st?

Korea is fun...definately...
Give it a try if there is any chance =D

There is no turning point now...
Forget the past and look at the future...
Prehap things will be even better...
