13th February 2008

Today is a boring day.

Mr Lim (VP) came to our class to speak to us.
He told us lots of things, which made many of us feel sleepy.
I mean words like 'u must work veri hard.' etc etc.
But 1 thing he said really caught me.
"To excel in 'O', U all must do the TYS not once, but several times."

Practise qn in TYS, so that when they modify TYS qn in this year paper, we are familiar wif it.
Wtf is wrong him?
I mean...Y do we study?
For our own self satisfaction? Or for exam?
My point of view: Studying is to learn. Not for the sake of exam.
If we do TYS several times, isn't that studying for the sake of exam?
Then wat is the point in doing so?

Kok nam told me that ppl long abandon thought of studying for sake of knowledge.
Unless I am able to change the world.
If not I have to face the reality of this society.
It's absolutely true.
Wat happened to our society?

I study for the thirst for knowledge.
How well I did for my tests does not matter.
If I truly understand it, my marks will come naturally to me.
I do not need an effort to memorise in order to jus obtain my marks.
Get the point?

Better not use too much com.
Competition on tmr.
